The Pinnatus Batfish or Redfin Batfish has a brown to black marbleized body with majestic orange accents around its grandiose oblong fins.
The Pinnatus Batfish is a very docile and delicate fish. The Pinnatus Batfish is very sought after for their cryptic swimming motions, Keep with other peaceful tank mates in a deep tank with lots of hiding areas. More than one can be housed together. May nip at some corals and invertebrates. As with all batfish they are is very susceptible to ich. Treat with copper-based medication if needed.
To initiate feeding try live feeder shrimp. Transition to vitamin-enriched brine shrimp and other frozen meaty foods such as shrimp and scallop.
