Description
The Neon Goby has a small midnight blue body with glowing blue horizontal stripes.
The Neon Goby is a great acquisition for a small reef tank. It is small but durable, and able to clean parasites off its tank mates. Can be kept in small groups in larger tanks.
It is not uncommon to have mated pairs spawn while in captivity. Eggs will be hidden in small openings in live rock and defended by both parents.
Its diet should include a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live worms, and prepared foods for carnivores.
