The Eyespot Surgeonfish or Black Spot Tang has an oval dark beige colored body with bright highlights on its face and fins.
The Eyespot Surgeonfish is a robust specimen that can grow fast. When small they are usually shy and need shelter areas to retreat in. The Eyespot Surgeonfish is mostly docile and will get along with most tangs. Keep the Eyespot Surgeonfish in a larger peaceful community tank with plenty of live rock and swimming area. May pick at some soft corals.
