The Long Tentacle Anemone or Corkscrew Anemone is a large anemone that can grow to 20 inches across. It comes in various colors but is usually has beige tentacles with a prominent red base or disc.
The Long Tentacle Anemone requires both medium light and water flow and needs to attach its foot in rocky substrate or rocks. This anemone will do best if paired up with a clarki clownfish.
The anemone uses photosynthesis and turns light into nutrients. They also filter algae and other organisms in the surrounding water column where they are anchored. Supplement its diet with meaty foods such as shrimp, krill, clams and worms. Soak foods in vitamin solution for added nutrition.
