AngelFish
Marine angelfish are from the Pomacanthidae family. Because they are long lived and have amazing colors and shapes, angelfish are very desirable to the aquarist. There are approximately 80 species of angelfish, from all over the tropic waters. They are mainly found in coral reefs where the food source is abundant.
When choosing your angelfish read the description carefully due to the behavior of some. If more than one is introduced into the tank there must be enough room for them to establish their territory. Be advised that some angelfish from the Eastern Pacific are very territorial and will not tolerate other angelfish in the aquarium. Angelfish are considered hardy and are not particularly prone to disease, but they do develop problems from time to time, including the normal bacterial and protozoan diseases that afflict all marine fish.
