Jawfish
The Jawfish is a very interesting fish to watch. It is from the family of Opistognathidae, with several genera and species. They are small fish with very large jaws that live in shallow tropical seas. Somewhat of a recluse, it spends most of its time peeking out of its burrow. You should have at least 4 inches of a sandy bottom for the Jawfish to construct its burrow. The Jawfish should be kept with easy-going tank mates. Can keep more than one in larger tanks. Keep tightly closed lid on tank to prevent a Jawfish from jumping out.
