Mushroom

Corallimorpharains or Mushroom Polyps are interesting animals. They come in a wide range of shapes and colors and great for beginner aquarist.  They are found mainly in deeper water, so they only require low light and need only gentle water movement. They filter feed microparticulates in the water and are supplemented by their own zooxanthellae, which are photosynthetic algae that aid in nutrients that help coral grow and retain their beautiful  colors.  Provide room when placing these animals in your tank as they have stinging tentacles and will compete for space.
