Hogfish

Most hogfish have interesting colors and shapes; some grow fairly large. Juveniles may clean parasites off of other fish.  As they age they will become more aggressive and pick on weaker fishes in the tank.  They will make short work of many crustaceans.  Best to keep only one per tank due to their territorial nature.  Keep them with other formidable fish such as groupers, triggers or lionfish in a larger tank with strong water movement that they are accustomed to. Provide plenty of live rock in the tank.
