The Hatian Pink Tip Anemone or Pink Condy is found in the Caribbean waters. It has girthy beige flowing tentacles with pinkish to purple tips.
The Haitian Reef Anemone remains solitary and does not accommodate hosts such as clownfish. Ideal habitats would include full lighting and medium water flow, and a thick sandy substrate with plenty of live rock for different options to anchor.
The anemone uses photosynthesis and turns light into nutrients. They also filter algae and other organisms in the surrounding water column where they are anchored. Supplement its diet with meaty foods such as shrimp, krill, clams and worms. Soak foods in vitamin solution for added nutrition.
