Description
The Red Foot Sand Anemone has a reddish gorging base with an abundance of whitish long flowing tentacles.
This anemone is a good choice for watching the symbiotic relationship with anemonefish. Full lighting and adequate water movement is required with plenty of rock or jagged substrate for it to anchor.
The anemone uses photosynthesis and turns light into nutrients. They also filter algae and other organisms in the surrounding water column where they are anchored.
