The Anemone Crab has a typical crab-like body. It has grayish body with orange and brown shaded accents covering their shell and legs. The two front formidable pinchers are equally sized.
Anemone Crabs are slow moving and reclusive crabs that live on host anemones for protection. This interesting scavenger crab can be kept in groups and are very peaceful. They use hairy projections to filter passing water for particulates, however meaty foods can also be offered. Provide a host anemone with plenty of live rock.
Crabs are aggressive scavengers and will leave no stone unturned to seek food. Supplement their diet with algae, small meaty foods and pellet foods such as Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets.
