The jelly blubber or blue blubber jellyfish, is a species of jellyfish from the Indo-Pacific. It is the most common jellyfish along the Australian coast. Small openings in the arms catch food which is passed through to the stomach. The jelly blubber has stinging tentacles however does not pose a serious risk to humans.
The jelly blubber will feed on plankton, small fish and small particulate matter.
