The Red Reef Lobster or Flame Lobster has a bright red body and is equivalent in size to a fresh water crawfish.
This hardy Red Reef Lobster is perfect in a peaceful community tank despite their menacing claws. The Red Reef Lobster will be stunning with correct lighting and will add value in the aquarium ecosystem grazing on the marine terrain. Keep single as the only invertebrate in the tank and provide adequate area for movement with climbing areas such as cliffs. Have thick sandy substrate and crevices for shelter. They are primarily nocturnal and will show little movement in the daytime. Will scavenge uneaten food and waste.
Feed a variety of meaty foods including silversides and shrimp. They really go for the Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets.
