Clove Polyps or Palm Tree Polyps have eight beautiful tentacles each covered with tan colored feathers. They form a thick bed of flowery clusters that have the ability to open and close. .
Clove Polyps are hardy and easy to maintain. They are filter feeders and require additional target feedings of zooplankton and supplements for good health. Have medium light with moderate water movement. They are capable of being stung by more aggressive corals, so slight spacing is necessary to other corals. Using gloves is a good idea when handling all corals, due to mild toxins coming in contact with human skin.
