Description
The Randall's Red & White Goby Shrimp or Red Banded Snapping Shrimp has red and white bands resembling a candy cane. It has the ability to make a popping sound with its pinchers and has a beneficial relationship with gobies.
The Randall's Shrimp and goby counterpart need a deep sand bed with flat pieces of rock work for their burrow. Best housed in smaller tanks with peaceful fish.
Marine shrimp are very resourceful in finding their own food but it will be necessary to supplementing their diet with small food pellets and flake food; also include minced meaty foods.
