The Fighting Conch resides in a brownish bumpy shell that is formed on one end with opening for both eye stalks of the conch.
The Fighting Conch is not aggressive although it my lunge forward if threatened. The Fighting Conch is an excellent scavenger and will sift the substrate of unwanted debris and may bury itself in it for days at a time. Provide a well establish tank with a thick sandy substrate with open areas for grazing. House with peaceful fish. Hermit crabs will kill them.
Supplement the diet of the Fighting Conch with small meaty foods and food pellets.
