The Passer Angelfish or King Angelfish has a blueish scaled patterned body with a white band that runs vertically behind the pectoral fin. The dorsal, pelvic and caudal fins are colored in a yellowish orange shade. Juveniles will have a bright rusty colored body with a multitude of vertical blue stripes.
The Passer Angelfish is a most sought after angelfish due to its radiant colors; the Passer Anglefish is very hardy and will do well with other larger semi-aggressive fish. House in a tank with ample swimming room and plenty of live rock for grazing and shelter. Keep only one per tank. Will nip at corals and small invertebrates.
