Description
The Regal Angelfish is a handsome brightly colored decorated fish. It has yellowish orange and white vertical stripes with blue highlights down its body. The Indian Sea and Red Sea versions will have more of an orange chest.
The Regal Angelfish is the first noticed in the aquarium with its proud striped colorations; acclimate the Regal Angelfish extremely well and always provide pristine water conditions. Keep only one Regal Angelfish per tank unless part of a mated pair; have plenty of live rock for grazing and shelter. Will nip at many types of corals and small invertebrates.
Feed a variety of vitamin-enriched foods; include marine algae and meaty foods as part of the diet. Consider Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets to provide the necessary protein and vitamins angelfish need.
