Description
The Bartlett's Anthias or Bartlett’s Fairy Bass has a two tone color scheme with mauve at the lower portion of the body and yellow that extends from the dorsal fin area and gradually to the head and the end of the caudal fin. The upper portion of the snout is pointed slightly upward.
Known to be one of the hardier anthias, the Bartlett’s will soon thrive in a well-established aquarium after acclimation. Have ample swimming area in the upper regions of the tank. Will do favorably in a reef environment with one male with several females in the same tank. Provide plenty of live rock for shelter.
Feed your anthias a varied diet, including small meaty frozen food such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp. Try to transition your anthias to Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets and Flakes for a healthy diet in order to maintain its brilliant colors.
