Description
The Male Lyretail Anthias known as the Scalefin Anthias or Jewel Anthias. It has a fin display adorned with accents and vigor. The body is a vibrant reddish color. The upper portion of the dorsal fin has a single thin waving banner. The tail fin is long and flowing.
The Lyretail Anthias is actually hardy, has grit and can be territorial. Best to keep only one per tank or one male with several females in a much larger tank. Have plenty of live rock with good shelter areas.
Feed your anthias a varied diet, including small meaty frozen food such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp. Try to transition your anthias to Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets and Flakes
