Description
The Lantern Bass has the colors reminiscent of a Scottish kilt. The checkered board pattern on its body is a light brown orange and black.
It is a very hardy and disease-resistant fish; great for beginners. The Lantern Bass needs to be kept in a semi-aggressive tank with similar sized tank mates and plenty of live rock for shelter. Will attack small invertebrates.
They will eat a variety of small meaty foods. Try adding vitamin-enriched food once the fish is established like Ocean Nutrition Formula One Small Pellets.
