The Springeri Dottyback has a narrow elongated dark gray body with electric blue streaks running above and below the eyes. The fin display is outlined in blue.
The hardy Springeri Dottyback is a very active fish meandering through various locations around the tank. It will seek out and consume many unwanted organisms in the tank. Provide lots of live rock for grazing and shelter. Keep only one per tank unless mated pairs. May eat ornamental shrimps.
They will eat a variety of small meaty foods. Try adding vitamin-enriched food once the fish is established like Ocean Nutrition Formula One Small Pellets.
