Description
The Swissguard Basslet, or Peppermint Basslet is a stunning fish. It has a long narrow body with red horizontal stripes of black and muted-yellow, the dorsal and caudal fins have black tips lined in a blue.
The Swissguard Basslet is an excellent candidate for a reef tank. Best if kept with other smaller peaceful fish. The Swissguard Basslet may threaten smaller invertebrates. Keep in a minimum tank size of 20 gallons.
The Swissguard Basslet is a carnivore and will eat smaller meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, and brine shrimp and other frozen preparations.
