The Teira Batfish or Longfin Batfish has a boomerang appearance, the body is white to yellow with several black vertical bands that run down its long masts.
The Teira Batfish is also another hardy batfish that will grow quite large. Keep with other peaceful tank mates in a deep tank with lots of shelter areas. More than one can be housed together. The Teira Batfish is very sought after for their cryptic swimming motions. When first introduced into the aquarium, live saltwater feeder shrimps can be used to initiate feeding.
Feed a variety of meaty foods such as shrimp, scallops, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and frozen herbivore preparations.
