Description
The Walking Batfish or Longnose Batfish has an unusual flat molted dark gray body and long protruding nose. It uses its pectoral fins to walk on the substrate.
The Walking Batfish is a demanding fish due to its needs. The Walking Batfish must have open thick substrate to walk on and bury itself if it feels threatened, also food must be given directly in front of its position. Provide thick sandy substrate and house with a limited amount of larger peaceful slow moving fish.
To initiate feeding start with live feeder shrimp then try other meaty foods on a feeder stick.
