The Mimic Blenny Mimics the colors of a venomous species of blenny, these colors are a bluish green starting at the head and turning to yellow toward the posterior of the fish. There is a black lateral line running along the back.
The Mimic Blenny is very peaceful, and not venomous. Keep in a well-established tank with natural algae to feed on. They are relaxed and always interesting to watch. May rest on live rock or other structures in the tank. Keep only one per tank unless mated pair.
Blennies will eat mostly all foods including vegetable matter that contains marine algae. Try feeding with Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets regularly for a healthy diet.
