Description

The Red Lip Blenny or Horseface Blenny has a pale to gray color body even sometimes having dark red vertical bands. The head is flattened with a wide reddish mouth.

 

The Red Lip Blenny should be housed in smaller aquariums with smaller peaceful tankmates. Provide a well-established system with plenty of live rock for grazing and shelter.  Keep only one per tank. Do not house with resembling shaped bottom dwelling fish. Due to the nature of this fish it is deemed for expert only.

 

Blennies will eat mostly all foods including vegetable matter that contains marine algae.  Try feeding with Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets regularly for a healthy diet.
