The Yellow Boxfish or Cubicus Boxfish has a beautiful yellow body with a multitude of tiny brown spots. Adults will lose the vibrant yellow color and become mostly brown.
The Yellow Boxfish is not the best reef inhabitant because it can pick at some invertebrates. Best kept in a larger tank with other peaceful inhabitants. Boxfish can release a toxin when stressed that can kill other fish. You may choose to have a designated Boxfish tank; they can be interesting specimen to observe.
