Description
The Brown Heniochus Butterflyfish, or Humphead Bannerfish, has a dark brown to brown body. The brown dorsal fin comes to a peak with two white vertical bands on either side of the body. The forehead has a small hump with tiny horns over each eye.
The Brown Heniochus will acclimate well, if not harassed by curious tank mates. Pairs can be added to tank if done simultaneously. Keep in tank with plenty of live rock for grazing and shelter. May nip at coral and invertebrates and not recommended for a reef tank.
To initiate feeding, offer a variety of small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp and cyclopeeze. Train your butterflyfish to eat Formula One Small Pellets or Flakes
