Description
The Klein's Butterflyfish also called the Corallicola, or Blacklip Butterflyfish, it has a shaded yellow body with a bluish or black band over the eyes and a hazel-colored mouth.
The Klein's Butterflyfish is by far the most durable butterflyfish and great for beginners. It will accept almost all foods offered and can be kept with other butterflyfish including members of its own species if introduced together. Keep the Klein’s Butterflyfish in a fish-only tank with lots of live rock for grazing and hiding. Will nip at coral and invertebrates and not recommended for a reef tank.
To initiate feeding, offer a variety of small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp and cyclopeeze. Train your butterflyfish to eat Formula One Small Pellets or Flakes for a healthy diet.
