Description
The Lattice Butterflyfish has a bright yellow body with a crosshatch pattern throughout. There is a vertical black band over the eyes and another at the tail fin.
The Lattice Butterflyfish is a moderately hardy fish and should be kept with peaceful tank mates. They will swim in all areas of the tank and should have plenty of swimming area. Lattice Butterflyfish Pairs can be added to tank if done simultaneously and can be kept with other butterflyfish species. Much like the Foxface when sleeping or stressed, the body color will darken. Keep in tank with plenty of live rock for grazing and shelter. Will nip at coral and invertebrates and not recommended for a reef tank.
To initiate feeding, offer a variety of small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp and cyclopeeze. Train your butterflyfish to eat Formula One Small Pellets or Flakes
