Description
The Bangaii Cardinal is generally a peaceful fish, but will set up a hierarchy among themselves and the weaker maybe picked on. Keep in very small even-numbered groups. The Bangaii Cardinal will hover close to ledges and crevices near live rock. Have plenty of live rock for shelter. They should leave most invertebrates alone except for very tiny crustaceans.
Feed cardinal fish a well-balanced diet including small meaty foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and krill. Try feeding Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets, an all in one food.
The Bangaii Cardinal or Longfin Cardinalfish has a metallic white body with three black vertical stripes that wrap the body. All the fins are elongated with dazzling white and black accents.
