Description
The Gold Stripe Maroon Clownfish is similar to the Maroon Clownfish but more flamboyant with yellow bands instead of white bands, one around the head, midsection and tailfin.
The Gold Stripe Maroon Clownfish is compact and spunky. Sea Anemones such as the Bubbletip Sea Anemone are not required for its habitat. Keep as the only anemone fish per tank. Have good hiding areas in live rock and a thick sandy substrate.
Spines on its cheek can become caught in nets; best to use small container for transferring.
The clownfish is always a ravenous feeder and will eat almost all meaty and prepared foods. Make sure the food is small enough in size to fit into their mouths. Try Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets for a balanced diet.
