The Blue-margin Fairy Wrasse or Pyle's Wrasse is found in the deep waters of the Indo-Pacific. Males are beige to pink in color with blue horizontal lines across the body. There are black spots on the tail fin and dorsal fin. Females are not as distinguished. The male’s colors will intensify when pursing females.
They are peaceful and a wonderful addition to any reef tank and will not harm invertebrates. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. As with any member of this species they can jump; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
