The Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse or Yellowflanked Fairy Wrasse has a gorgeous array of attractive colors. It may have blue and red colorations with iridescent blue spots on the fins and the underside of the body is usually yellow.
Offer the Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse plenty of swimming area despite the smaller size of this fish, maybe very shy at first, only add groups of the same genus to the tank simultaneously. Have plenty of live rock with lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. As with any member of this species they can be very fast and jump; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
