The Filamented Flasher Wrasse, or Whip-fin Fairy Wrasse is a glowing orange fish with sparse blue and red lateral lines in the body and a long wispy dorsal fin. The females are not as distinguished as the males.
The Filamented Flasher Wrasse is a peaceful fish and a good candidate for a (FOWLR) or reef tank and will not harm invertebrates. One male can be housed with several females if introduced simultaneously. Have plenty of live rock with lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. The Filament Fin Fairy Wrasse is known for jumping; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
