The Hooded Flame Fairy Wrasse or Coral Sea Wrasse is a very desirable wrasse with its vibrant colors. It has blends of orange. Red and yellow down the body and dark accents on the fins. Males will be more distinguished.
The Hooded Flame Fairy Wrasse is peaceful and well-rounded for a reef or fish only tank. One male can be housed with several females if added simultaneously. Provide plenty of live rock with good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. As with any member of this species they can jump; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
