This exciting wrasse was actually recently discovered in Fiji and was named after the discoverer Tony Nahacky. Very similar to the hooded wrasse where the distinct red head separated from the yellow body gives it the common name, the “Hooded Fairy Wrasse”. With a high rising dorsal fin and bright orange yellow and red colors the Nahacky Wrasse is sure to delight.
This is a peaceful fish and makes a good candidate for a reef tank, as it will not harm invertebrates. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. As with any member of this species they can jump; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
