The Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse or Red Margin Fairy Wrasse boasts a wide range of colors. Males are shades of blue, pink and purple with yellow towards the tail. The edges of the dorsal fin are red. Females are not as distinguished.
This is a peaceful fish and a good candidate for a (FOWLR) or reef tank and will not harm invertebrates. One male can be housed with several females if introduced simultaneously. Have plenty of live rock and lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. The Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse is known for jumping; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
