The Tono’s Fairy Wrasse is very similar to the Whipfin Fairy Wrasse. This small but beautiful wrasse has a bright red body and yellowish underside with a high arching pink dorsal fin. The tail fin has a blue edging. The females are less dramatic looking.
The Tono’s Wrasse is a perfect candidate for a peaceful community tank. It will not harm Invertebrates or coral. One male can be housed with several females if introduced simultaneously. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
