The Golden Dwarf Eel comes from the reefs of Hawaii and stays relatively small. Its coloration is a brilliant yellow with small dark specks.
The Golden Dwarf Moray Eel stays relatively small which makes it a very maintainable eel in an average sized home aquarium. The timid Golden Dwarf Moray Eel will wander the aquarium until it finds a suitable safe home to nest ; it is also very sneaky and curious and can escape through the smallest openings on the top of the aquarium. The Golden Dwarf Eels do have teeth and must be respected when cleaning the tank ; the Golden Dwarf Eel can be kept by most aquarists trouble free just provide soft substrate with rock crevices or caves for shelter.
Live foods may need to be offered first to initiate feeding; feed small silversides, shrimp and squid using a feeding stick.
