Description
The Snowflake Eel, Clouded Moray is one of the most beautiful and favorite eels in the hobby. It is shaded in black and white bands with yellowish gold splotches.
The Snowflake Eel is very hardy and does well in captivity. Provide the Snowflake Eel with lots of anchored live rock for shelter. Keep only one with aggressive tank mates and have good sealing on the overflows and lids. Not recommended in a reef tank or with invertebrates. Feed with feeding stick to ensure your eel gets food.
Eels will eat all meaty foods including fish, shrimp, squid, and some frozen prepared foods. Use a long feeding rod to feed your eel. They can be trained to associate when it’s feeding time.
