Description
The Green Filefish has a pale thin green body. It has a small retractable thorn like dorsal fin. The snout is protruded for picking in small crevices.
The Green Filefish is a peaceful fish but not suited for a reef tank. Keep with other peaceful fish. Have plenty of rock work for grazing and shelter.
The filefish will eat a variety of small meaty foods such as enriched brine shrimp and mysis shrimp; also include marine algae.
