Description
The Potbelly Filefish is pale brown to greenish brown with small brown specks throughout its body. The lower region in front of the anal fins protrudes outward and can give the impression of being a larger fish than it really is.
It should be kept singly. Keep with other peaceful tank mates. Not suitable in a reef tank or with invertebrates.
The filefish will eat a variety of small meaty foods such as enriched brine shrimp and mysis shrimp; also include marine algae.
