Description

The Wartskin Frogfish or Clown Frogfish is a master of camouflage, its usual color is a white body with earth tone splotches to blend in with the nearby marine landscape. They are able to walk around on the sea floor with their appendages.

 

The Wartskin Frogfish is a ambush predator with quite a attitude; they will usually rest on live rock or the substrate until a meal comes by. Provide plenty of live rock with sandy substrate in a peaceful tank. Keep one per tank. The Wartskin will eat smaller fish and crustaceans.

 

For feeding the frogfish you may need to start with live feeder fish such as guppies or small minnow goldfish than transition to healthier frozen meaty foods.
