Description
The Golden Stripe Grouper or Six stripe Soapfish is brown to black with irregular yellowish golden horizontal lines down its body.
Like all Soapfish, they can release toxic mucus from their skin under stress. They are very tenacious and have a big appetite, eating anything that will fit in their mouth. Have good hiding places in live rock. Donot transfer the shipping water to the aquarium.
Feed a variety of meaty foods such as silversides and frozen shrimp. Try saturating food in liquid vitamins and garlic for good fish health.
