Description
The Slender Grouper is a medium sized grouper found around reefs slopes in the indo-pacific. It is light brown in color with small orange dots throughout its body. The lower jaw bone of its narrow mouth protrudes outward.
The Slender Grouper is an ambush predator and will consume small fish and any invertebrate that will fit into their large mouth. Provide plenty of live rock for shelter and ample swimming area. House single as the only grouper with other aggressive fish equal in size.
Feed a variety of meaty foods including silversides, shrimp and squid.
