The Falco Hawkfish or Dwarf Hawkfish has a white body with red to brown spots. Its dorsal fin is highly arched with tiny hair like projections called cirri.
It is smaller than most hawkfish but still very hardy. Will spend lots of time near the substrate in corners of the live rock. Acquaint this fish last in the tank based on its aggressive behavior. Keep with fish that can fend for themselves. Provide plenty of live rock to inhabit. May attack smaller fish and invertebrates.
Most hawkfish will eat a variety of frozen meaty foods. Try to train your hawkish to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellets for a healthy diet.
