Description
The Coral Hawkfish or Pixy Hawkfish has a white body with sizeable red spots on the body, they diminish in size towards the head and tail fin. The dorsal fin has noticeable tiny hair-like projections called cirri.
It can be an aggressive fish at times even attacking fish larger than itself. Best to add the hawkfish last for controlling their aggressive behavior. Provide plenty of live rock to inhabit. May attack small fish and invertebrates.
Most hawkfish will eat a variety of frozen meaty foods. Try to train your hawkish to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellets for a healthy diet.
