The Cuban Hogfish or Spotfin Hogfish has a bright orange to red body. A white streak runs from the lower jaw through the center of the body. There is a yellow section toward the end of the dorsal fin extending to the tail fin. The head is a spear shape.
The Cuban Hogfish can be shy and hide when first entering a new environment but will adjust quickly. The Cuban Hogfish is a very hardy and needs plenty of swimming room. Keep with larger fish that can fend for themselves. May eat smaller fish and invertebrates.
